Labour induction at 39 weeks

This trial examines inducing women at 39 weeks compared to expectant management. The trial showed that induction gave similar results to expectant management. The caesarean section rate was reduced in those that were induced. There was also reduced high blood pressure in the induction group. Those that were induced also reported less pain and felt more in control of labour.
