About Us

Welcome to Melbourne Obstetric and Gynaecology Specialists.

We are an all-female group of obstetricians, midwives and gynaecologists. We have a special interest and years of experience in assisting patients with normal and more complicated pregnancies and menstrual / gynaecological disorders.

Our team

Dr Claire Francis and A/Prof Fiona Brownfoot welcome you to MOGS! We are a group of highly skilled female obstetricians, gynaecologists and midwives, and we love what we do!

Whether this is your first pregnancy or you have been pregnant before and whether things are normal or more complicated, we will help you navigate this exciting and sometimes challenging time. We are here to be on the journey with you and here to answer all your questions – even the ones you didn’t know you had.

We also have deep experience of assisting women facing gynaecological problems, pain and other concerns.

We are committed to bringing patients the most modern and up to date treatments and care options in both obstetrics and gynaecology. We do this by maintaining our knowledge of the latest medical and scientific research, treatments and investigations as well as investing time in academia and training.

The result – you receive the care you deserve.
